Reward and Recognition (R&R)


We keep discussing attrition, attrition rate, reasons for attrition, and so on... Do you discuss the ways to retain employees? If your answer is Yes, then how frequently do you do that?

Most Managers, Directors, VPs, and Business Owners have clear goals to reduce costs while improving the quality, and sometimes the quantity of work being done by their employees. So, what needs to be done? I would say careful considerations need to be done when it comes to getting more out of your workplace, especially in this digital age.

One of the ways is to attract and improve employee productivity by retaining and rewarding outstanding performers and this can be achieved in many ways, ranging from special perks to greater flexibility. An employee reward and recognition program is a fail-safe strategy that can be implemented in any business because it encourages employees to come out of their comfort zone and do something out of the box which ultimately benefits the business.

Introducing a reward and recognition program helps increase employee engagement, , and increases employee retention which ultimately decreases the attrition rate. Reward and recognition programs are effective because it focuses on the positive aspects which send a clear message to their employees that what they are doing matters.
